Multi-talent Gospel singer and songwriter Masefako Malatji won an award in the best-composed song category.
Born and raised at Tickeyline village in Greater Tzaneen, she was well known for singing in local churches from as young as the age of 12 until she decided to record her album.
In the quest to satisfy her young life yearnings, Masefako resigned from full-time employment after working in a local municipality for 13 years, to pursue her dreams.
Her official music career started in 2022 after relocating to Pretoria and recording her first album entitled “The Genesis”.
