GA-MATIPANE: A family in Ga-Matipane, Bolobedu was robbed at gunpoint by seven suspects.
Mokwakwaila Police Media liaison Officer sgt Tinyiko Manganyi said it was alleged by the complainant that on Tuesday evening at around 21H00 seven unknown African males broke into Moyahabo Olga Selowa (54) who was sleeping together with her husband Moela Nkwana.
While sleeping she heard that there is some body in the room. She woke up and found that there were four unknown African males in the room and three suspects were in possession of firearms.
They pointed them with firearm and demanded money from them and they didn’t have money since they bought new vehicles cash. The other one without firearm started searching all over in the room.
The complainant and her husband Moela Nkwana were tied with shoes laces. There after the other three unknown African males entered in the room together with her son who was sleeping in the other room together with her employee Flora were also tied with shoes laces.
The suspects started taking the valuable items including the TV, Car keys, clothes and accessories and cash money to the value of R57980.99
