Three lions believed to have killed an employer at Dinokeng Resort stand to be euthanized

HAMMANSKRAAL: The Dinokeng Game Reserve in Hammanskral has announced that they have applied for a permit to euthanize the lions that have killed an employer at the reserve.

This after Johannes Machete was mauled by vicious lions at the Tshwane North-based reserve last Sunday.

The 30 – year old was said to be walking in the reserve when the lions attacked him, leaving only the skull and bones, which were found by his colleagues the following day.

‘The Dinokeng Game Reserve has confirmed that they have applied for a permit to euthanize the three lions from Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Environment’, read the statement.
