POLOKWANE – A group of Thobela FM listeners is planning to stage a protest at SABC Park following the unexplained absence of popular presenter Leonard “Lenny T” Legodi from the station’s new line-up.
Lenny T has been off-air since the beginning of the new radio season, sparking concern and frustration among his loyal audience.
It is alleged that Legodi was denied entry to the SABC premises on April 1st due to “incomplete paperwork.”
Now, more than a week later, Legodi remains off-air, with no official explanation provided, leaving listeners outraged.
Some fans have threatened to boycott the station and are now organizing a march on Friday, April 11 to the station’s headquarters, demanding that Legodi be reinstated immediately.
Currently, Lethabo Lejoy Mathato is the sole presenter of the Ditlalemeso breakfast show—a development that hasn’t gone down well with many listeners.
