LENYENYE: The identity of the man who was gunned down at Lenyenye Shopping Complex in the early hours of Monday has been revealed to be Solly Maenetja (37) from Moime village in Greater Tzaneen.
It is has been confirmed that the deceased was at the Lenyenye at around 3 am where he was gunned down.
According to the information received by Tzaneen Voice, the suspect allegedly separated the two ladies who were at loggerheads while the deceased insisted on wanting the two women to continue fighting.
This allegedly angered the male suspect.
The information further reads that the suspect fired six bullets at the deceased, killing him instantly.
The deceased was certified dead at the scene.
Just a month ago the deceased was assaulted by a crowd of people in Polokwane after he was accused of being involved in card skimming.
He was admitted to the hospital and discharged a few days ago.
The car that the deceased allegedly came with was at the scene all morning.
