The Family Of the 122-year-old granny Extends Gratitude to Speak Out Phalaborwa

NAMAKGALE- The Mdlovu and Mathebula family in Namakgale extended their hearfelt gratitude to the chairperson of Speakout Phalaborwa, Edmond Mbetse for the discovery of their 122-year-old mother and grandmother and assisting in organizing her birthday celebration held on Saturday, May 07 in Namakgale.

Mbetse took it upon himself to assist the family in organizing the birthday celebration and getting sponsorship.

The beautiful decoration was sponsored by the former Councillor Alina Peta, while the cakes were donated by Eats and Treat Bakery based near Maphutha Malatji Hospital and Dzunisani Chauke of  Dzuni’s Cakes from Lulekani.

During her vote of thanks, Kokwani Winase Mdlovu’s daughter Ammy Mdlovu Mathebula thanked all the donors who made her mother’s celebration a success. ” I thank Edmond Mbetse of Speakout Phalaborwa, he worked tirelessly to ensure that the event was successful, however I am very disappointed in our local leaders from our Municipality who failed to assist us or even attend the event, ” she expressed.

She still pleads with anyone who can assist with a wheelchair and adult diapers for the old woman.
