Teenager who accused Ga-Sekororo well-known prophet of rape drops case

GA-SEKORORO-A Teenage girl who had accused Ga-Sekororo well-known prophet of raping her has changed her mind and sought to drop the charges.

The 14-year-old girl shocked the police when she decided to drop the case.

In 2019 the prophet Rikhotso known as Nguzinguzu was arrested for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl from Makgaung Village in Ga-sekororo.

The girl alleged that she was raped by the prophet for two days and further alleged that the Prophet said her life and family will change for the better.

Rikhotso was released on bail on 27 October 2019.

On 19 March, Nkowankowa Magistrate Court the Judge found the prophet Rikhotso not guilty of all the charges against him.

After the girl confessed that she lied and was sent by other pastors to destroy Prophet Rikhotso’s life.

All charges were dropped against him and the court refunded the Prophet his bail money.

Prophet Rikhotso told Tzaneen’s voice that he was a freeman today and glad that his name was clear. He said he thanked God that he exposed the work of the enemy. He said what was meant for evil has turned out to be good.
