GA-KURANTA- A 17-year-old boy accused of murdering a pensioner has been remanded in custody.
The teenage boy was brought to the police station by a family member who suspected that something was amiss about him following the murder of their neighbour aged 85 at Kuranta village.
The deceased’s body was found with gruesome stab wounds in her house on Tuesday, May 17 at about 06h00.
The accused made a brief appearance in the Bolobedu magistrate court and his case was remanded to Thursday, June 02.
