Suspects arrested for Phalaborwa mob justice incident which led to death of Four

MAJEJE VILLAGE-The four suspects have been arrested for a mob justice incident on Thursday, June 09 in which four people accused by community members of murdering a business man at Majeje Village Phalaborwa, were killed.

They were brutally murdered and their bodies set alight soon after a business robbery at the local Tuck shop in which its owner was shot dead.

Soon after the incident, the Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe established a Team to track down the killers.

The suspects were arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning, 11 June 2022. More arrests are expected.

Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has commended the Police Task team comprising Crime Intelligence, Tracking Team and Detectives for arresting the suspects.

The suspects will appear before Namakgale magistrate court tomorrow on Monday 13 June 2022, facing four counts of murder.

The Police investigations are still continuing.
