MOIME VILLAGE-It is reported that thugs broke into Mohlago Educare Center located at Motjeteng village, Greater Tzaneen, and stole food worth over R8,000 AND other valuables.
The incident is reported to have happened on Monday evening September 18.
The suspects are said to have accessed the property by jumping over a fence, breaking the windows into one of the classrooms and proceeding to the store room where the goods were stored.
“The thieves managed to take toys, canned food and other grocery items before they fled the scene. Neighbours who saw them tried to alert the community, but, unfortunately, only one of them was cornered and assaulted”, a staff member said.
The assaulted suspect is said to have been taken to Dr CN Phatudi Hospital.
Police are conducting investigations, however, information is required from the public who might know the whereabouts of the other three suspects who managed to escape.
