TZANEEN-A suspect who has been terrorizing hitchhikers on R71 and other surrounding areas has been denied bail.
Police in Ritavi confirmed that a man who drives a white VW Polo sedan registration KM 90 TL GP appeared in court on October 25 and was denied bail.
It is alleged that the car was involved in robberies wherein they give people lifts, take their belongings and leave them in the bushes or kill them.
The suspect is facing other similar crimes in Gauteng and is possibly linked to the Murder and rape in George’s Valley.
