Street vendor lauded as a hero after woman gives birth outside Burgersfort Clinic

BURGERSFORT: Mme Gladys Mokgotho from Shakung has been lauded as a local hero after her acts of bravery helped save a life in Burgersfort yesterday.

This comes after Mme Mokgotho helped a pregnant woman give birth at the gate of Burgersfort clinic in Ga Sekhukhune on Tuesday, 11 October.

It is alleged that the pregnant woman was denied entry at the clinic after she was told that it opens at 7am.

With no any other assistance whatsoever, Mokgotho took matters into her own hands and helped the pregnant woman to go into labour.

Tzaneen voice has since established that both mother and baby are in a stable condition.
