MALAMULELE – According to the police report, it is alleged that the male victims were sexual assaulted by this perpetrator in his shack house at the bush in different occasions.
It is further stated that the ordeal took place for two years, while the parents were not aware of the incident.
A 43-year-old man appeared before Malamulele Magistrate Court on Wednesday, September 07 in connection with rape of five minors between the ages of 12 and 15.
He was arrested on August 25, 2022. Alson Chauke hails from the bushes of Phugwana village where he owns an orchard.
Malamulele SAPS Communication Officer Sergeant Busisiwe Khuzwayo told Tzaneen Voice that a teacher’s noticed something strange about one of the boys who was in pain and struggling to sit, upon confrontation, the boy confirmed the ordeal and they were taken to a heath facility for check-up.
“The test revealed that that the boys had been raped, they finally spoke up and admitted to having been raped.
The case was postponed to 12 September 2022 for formal bail application, meanwhile police investigations continue.
