NKOWANKOWA-The Nkowankowa community is in mourning following the tragic news about the disappearance of Nyiko Nkwinika, who was reported missing on June 23, 2024, in the Newlands East area of Durban.
Family, friends, and loved ones spent several anxious days worrying and searching for Nyiko, hoping for his safe return. Known as a beloved member of the community, his sudden disappearance raised many concerns and questions.
Unfortunately, recent reports confirm that Nyiko’s body was discovered near the intersection of the M1 and N2 highways. This news has brought immense sorrow to his family and friends, who had hoped for his safe return.
Initial investigations suggest that the cause of death might be related to a robbery. However, police investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding his death.
