TZANEEN- The music sensation Shebeshxt continues to cement his stardom in South African music, as he leads the pack as the most booked artist in the country, without being attached to any well-established record label.
President Yama 2k, as he is affectionately known by his legion of fans, has set the stage ablaze and became the most talked about artist in the country after his appearance at Podcast and Chill with MacG, where he amassed over 2 million views in 2 weeks.
The ‘Malume’ hitmaker has released an official December gig guide, which will see him performing in various provinces across the country and Botswana.
During his interview with MacG at Podcast and Chill, Shebe revealed that he charges R20 000 per performance, meaning he’s guaranteed to make over R1.2 million by the end of this festive season.
With Shebe gradually becoming the most influential figure in the industry, some of the renowned artists such as Dr Malinga are getting their vocals back by associating with him.
Dr Malinga and Shebe had recently released a single hit ‘Asilali’, a song project in which Malinga revealed that it’s starting to get more gigs for him and has credited Shebeshxt for that.
