LEBOWAKGOMO- The controversial talented vocalist Lehlogonolo Chauke, also known as ” Shebeshxt” was denied bail once more by the Lebowakgomo Magistrate Court on Tuesday, May 09.
The ‘Malume’ hitmaker appeared in court facing charges of assaults, malicious property damage, discharging an unlicensed firearm and attempted murder. All of his three cases were dealt with at once for bail application.
Shebeshxt was denied bail in all three charges and will remain in Police custody pending his next appearance on 14 June 2023, at the same court.
This is his second court appearance where the musician was denied bail, it is allegedly reported that, he was arrested on Friday, 28 April 2023 after stabbing a young man. The motive behind his stabbing the young man is still not yet known.
According to Limpopo National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Mashadu Malabi, the popular musician was denied bail for further investigations and for the dockets to be perused by the senior Public Prosecutor.
Malabi further dismissed reports that Shebeshxt has been sentenced to prison for any cases he’s facing.
