SEKGOSESE- A concerned resident of Itieleng village, in Sekgosese, has called an urgent community meeting.
A letter that is at Tzaneen voice’s disposal details how community members have died and many are still expected to die if this issue is not resolved urgently. Community members, comrades from all political spheres, community leaders, and builders are all expected to be in attendance.
The meeting is scheduled for Friday, 29 January 2021, in the local Itieleng Community Hall. The meeting organiser Nathi wa Maisha said “None of my family members have been poisoned, nonetheless, because this issue affects my community it directly affects me because we are like family in the community. This poison is too much and has spread all over Sekgosese. It is time we put it to rest.”
He further advised people even those outside Limpopo province to alert family members and friends to attend the meeting. “Should you fail to do so, this poison might kill one of your loved ones one day” he added.
Maisha continued to indicate that this meeting is critical and this problem must be rooted out. “It is time as the community of Itieleng to stand up and fix this problem. Many have died already because of this and more expected to die soon”. He concluded.
