POLOKWANE : Popular Thobela FM presenter, Sebasa Mogale has released a statement to address the allegations of fraud in his Cryptocurrency business.
The SABC has on Friday announced that it has taken a decision to unschedule the broadcaster from Ntshirogele, Thobela FM’s afternoon drive show, in order to give Mogale time sort his issues.
In a lengthy statement, Mogale says in all his preparations, he has never forced to sign up.
“In all my presentations during roadshows, at offices, via Zoom sessions and telephonicaly, I never imposed or coerced anyone to sign up. I would encourage everyone to do their own research, especially because I know not everyone is familiar with the Cryptocurrency industry,” said Mogale
Mogale further says that all monies that were put into the business were directly deposited into the mining company to mining packages according and advertisements that were placed on the SABC [ Thobela FM] were accompanied by a disclaimer that encouraged listeners to consult financial advisors as he is not a financial expert.
The Skeem Saam actor further says that the mining and trading of any Cryptocurrency is dependent on market fluctuations, meaning that whenever the market rises or drops, everyone will be affected.
“In March 2022, I received an email from Carte Blanche, with query about the false allegations made against me,” said Mogale.
“I responded to the email with all the details and clarifications stated in this statement and more, however, due to reasons better known to them, Carte Blanche chose to not share my entire response during their broadcast on Sunday, the 15th of May,” Mogale continued.
The broadcaster says he will reserve his right to take legal action against any / or parties who have injured his good name and reputation.
