MOKWAKWAILA: The Police in Mokwakwaila and K9 have started a search operation for the missing human remains of the late Modike Philemon Masedi that are missing in his grave.
The late Masedi was buried in January 2022.
A family member discovered the remains after they visited the grave site to clean them as they were preparing for the unveiling of the tombstone.
The family alleges that on arrival they found that bricks from Philemon’s grave were removed from the grave and when they further checked the grave they discovered that the coffin was opened.
They then summoned the police to the scene who attended the scene and found that the corpse was also not in the coffin.
This coming weekend on 11 February 2023 the family was planning to do an unveiling ceremony.
