NKOWANKOWA-The search for 23-year-old Zelda Lolita Ximusa from Mandlakadzi, who had been missing for over a week, has come to a devastating end.
Zelda was found deceased at Letaba Hospital following a tragic car accident. Her passing has left her family and the entire community in shock and mourning.
Zelda was last seen on September 30, when she informed her family that she had arrived safely at her aunt’s place in Nkambako and wanted to rest.
After that conversation, her phone went offline, and she was unreachable on social media, raising alarm among her loved ones.
Her family grew increasingly concerned when they contacted Surprise Driving School, where Zelda had been taking driving lessons, only to learn that she had not attended any lessons for the past two weeks.
The breakthrough in the search came when a driver recognized Zelda’s photo, which had been circulating online, and alerted her family.
The Ximusa family expressed their deep gratitude to everyone who helped share information about Zelda’s disappearance and to the driver who made the crucial connection.
Zelda’s untimely passing has cast a shadow over the community, and her family is now preparing to lay her to rest.
