The President of the South African National Boxing Organisation (SANABO) Siyabulela Mkwalo says boxers from all the nine provinces of South Africa will be competing in the Sanabo Boxing Youth & Elite Championships 2023 starting from 5 to 8 July 2023 at Tzaneng Mall in Tzaneen CBD.
He says the community of Tzaneen have warmly welcomed the boxers and everything is going as planned by the LOC.
The best boxers that will be selected will compete in Singapore and even at the Olympics.
Locals boxers have also come in numbers to support the initiative from SANABO.
Emmanuel Nkwashu from Nkowankowa says they are happy when they see the youth choosing boxing as a sport and hopefully, this will encourage a lot of young people to focus on sports and remove them from the streets.
