DAN VILLAGE- Sagwati Vinolia Ngobeni (16) from Dan village in Greater Tzaneen is making waves in the international teen pageant scene after she was crowned Miss Teen Galaxy – Grand Prix Winner in Europe.
The beauty contestant was held on the 31st, at Bunsko, Bulgaria in Europe.
In 2022, Sagwati competed for Miss Limpopo Province, reaching the semifinals. The same year, she participated in and won Miss Teen Galaxy South Africa, earning a nomination to represent South Africa in Europe.
The Grade 10 Hoereskool Ben Vorster learner spent a week in Europe where representatives from countries such as Brazil, Malta, Bulgaria, Armenia, Romania, Moldova, and North Macedonia were present and she walked away with the title.
Sagwati told Tzaneen Voice that when her name was called, she was in disbelief and extremely happy at the same time as the competition was tough.
“I had the pleasure of learning about other countries’ various cultures and I have made lots of new friends from around the world.
Sagwati started modelling at the tender age of 7 and has won many other titles along the way.
Miss Galaxy South Africa is an online, beauty and brains with-purpose pageant, designed to empower young women to become the best of themselves.
