Residents of Topanama village burn tyres outside local business man’s house over unpaid wages

LEPHEPANE-It is reported that the people that were hired by the business man who is also a leader in the community to build toilets for residents of Topanama village, Greater Tzaneen revolted against him this afternoon over unpaid wages.

According to the residents, the business man, Lucky Mogomolo has been ducking and diving after the completion of the project and no payment has materialized, thus, they decided to go to his home to confront him about the issue.

The workers were spotted burning tyres at the residence of the business man this afternoon.

Mogomolo is said to have disappeared off the face of the earth and untraceable, an effort to get hold of him was unsuccessful but he send his business associate to address the protesters and they promised to be paid on Wednesday, July 20.
