Prophet VC Zitha of God with us TV and VC Zitha Ministries on Sunday donated R10000 to the Lulekani Primary School netball team that has recently won the Provincial and National championships.
God With Us TV of VC Zitha Ministries acknowledged the Lulekani Primary School Netball Team for becoming the national champions.
Each player also got R650 including their technical team.
The player of the tournament also got an additional R250. The prophet also gave them goodies such as T-shirts, School bags and Bibles. Parents of the netball players were also given groceries by Prophet VC Zitha.
The Principal of Lulekani Primary School Gilmo Mhlari said that they are happy and grateful for what Prophet Zitha has done for their school, especially their netball players.
“It was a complete surprise because they thought they were just attending a service seeking prayers only to be blessed by the Man of God”
The school is appealing for more samaritans to help them as they will soon be travelling to Roodepoort in Gauteng to play at Florida High School in October.
The majority of their opponents are white schools. As a school, they are required to travel to play against those opponents and this means stretching of resources.
Lulekani Primary School won the under-13 silver medal in 2018. In 2022 the reached semi finals. This year in 2023 they are the champions
Meanwhile, Edmund Mbetse of Phalaborwa Speakout was also honoured yesterday at VC Zitha Ministries for the wonderful job he is doing in Phalaborwa. Mbetse is a community activist who works tirelessly to ensure that people get justice in Phalaborwa. He received R1000.00 from the church as a token of appreciation.
