TZANEEN -The Modjadji Royal Council says it will soon approach the courts to challenge President Cyril Ramaphosa’s decision to recognize Princess Masalanabo Modjadji as an heir to Balobedu nation throne.
President Ramaphosa recognized Princess Masalanabo Modjadji as heir to throne in December last year.
This despite a decision by the council that, the princess’s brother, Prince Lekukela Modjadji should ascend the throne.
The council’s spokesperson, Ronny Moroatshehla says the President is yet to respond to their correspondence concerning their unhappiness following his decision.
“At the request of our legal advisors we wrote to the president to enquire if the reports we were seeing were true, and he has not responded if he does not come back to us we will go to court.”
