President Ramaphosa To Address the Nation, amid public holiday demands

PARIS : President Spokesperson, Vincent Magwenya has poured cold water on reports that October 30th will be a public holiday.

This was after President Cyril Ramaphosa hinted at declaring a public holiday if the Springboks defended their Rugby World Cup crown.

The Springboks did defend their crown on Saturday night, defeating the All Blacks 12 – 11 in the final fueling reports that Monday may be a public holiday.

“Tomorrow is day 1 of Matric exams, and a public holiday will be very disruptive to their exam schedule. Please ignore fake announcements, got work tomorrow, work hard like a true World Champion, and wait for the President’s address in the evening” – President Spokesperson, Vincent Magwenya.

President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation on Monday night.
