SKIMMING VILLAGE- A woman was found on Tuesday, February 14, at the Mlototsi River next to Skhimeni Village outside of Giyani.
Police said a lifeless body of a woman was discovered by community members after they received information from other community members who had seen the body floating in the lake the day before and had alerted adjacent towns.
It’s understood that the woman was wearing a set of black tracksuit bottoms, a cream-coloured bra, and a cream-coloured T-shirt with red stripes.

On her hand, she also white tag with the word “good luck” printed on it.
She is estimated to be between the ages of 28 and 35.
Giyani Police Communications officer Ridgewell Rikhotso says on Tuesday, February 14, Saps members were called to the crime scene. When they arrived, they called for help from emergency services and other relevant parties.
“Police officers from South Africa, with the, helped of Sekhimini village community members, remove the body” he explained
“It so deteriorated that forensic pathology services transported it to Nkhensani hospital (the government mortuary)” Sgt Rilhotso added
