Phalaborwa taxi association driver laid to rest

NAMAKGALE-The Phalaborwa Taxi Association’s famous driver France Ramatsoma who passed away after a short illness was laid to rest in Namakgale cemetery on Saturday, March 04. He was known for his humble and kind personality by passengers.

He was a taxi operator for many years, in Phalaborwa and Namakgale. Ramatsoma worked for Raymond Motubatse for 9 years as a driver. Motubatse says Washa Washa was an excellent driver who was dedicated, committed and loyal to his work.

He was born on 06 August 1966 and is the second-born son of the late Alpheus Ramatsoma and Mmamatome Ramatsoma. He started his primary school at Shaya Meriri Primary School in Bolobedu. He proceeded to Mampeule High School where he ended up in the 9th  grade. He later started to work in Politsi. After that, he became a taxi driver until he met his untimely death.

He is survived by his wife Maria Ramatsoma. His three children are Motsiri, Sontaga and Monaiwa. He is also survived by his two sisters, a brother and his mother.
