LULEKANI-A resident of Lulekani Biko village is alleged to have stabbed his 45-year-old wife to death with a sharp object over suspicions of her having an extramarital affair.
The incident took place at Lulekani Biko under Ba-Phalaborwa municipality on Tuesday Morning.
Lulekani Police were alerted by community members and went to the scene where they found a woman in a pool of blood, she was certified dead on the scene by paramedics.
The police said the suspect who worked as a pastor of a local church, and his wife, quarrelled often over the issue in days preceding the incident.
Police further confirms that a man of 71- year-old man is arrested for the murder of his wife after he handed himself over to the police station few hours after the incident.
A man is expected to appear in Lulekani Magistrate court soon, police investigation is still continuing
