PHALABORWA-Communities under Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality also known as “Concerned Group” have shut down R71 near Makhushane Camp to action their grievances against lack of jobs, nepotism and corruption on Monday, June 06.
The group is also calling for the disbandment of the current Ba-Phalaborwa Community Forum (BCF) committee and its sub-structures. They are accusing the current leadership of corruption and nepotism, hiring only their relatives.
According to the group leader, they will continue closing all routes if their grievances are not attended to swiftly.
So far, the municipality has not commented.
