Phalaborwa concerned chairperson and other two members arrested

PHALABORWA-The Chairperson of Phalaborwa Concern community members Edwin Notwane Malatji and two other members were arrested on Thursday, November 16 after two trucks and EMS vehicles in a series of violent protests in the past weeks.

Malatji and his Co-accused appeared at Phalaborwa Magistrate Court on Friday 17 November and he was denied bail while the other two suspects from Selwane were released on bail.

Phalaborwa Concerned Community member Edwin Malatji affectionately known by his supporters as  “Document proof attached” remains in police holding cells.

He will appear again next week Monday 20 November for bail application.
