Pedestrian Left Unconscious and Bleeding in Hit-and-Run Collision at Kanana Village, Ga-Sekororo

KANANA – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries following a hit-and-run collision on the D21 road between Kanana Village and Bellville Ga Sekororo in the Maruleng Local Municipality on Monday night.

The incident occurred at approximately 18:10 p.m. when the pedestrian was crossing the D21 road and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle did not stop after the collision, leaving the victim unconscious and bleeding on the roadway.

Emergency paramedics quickly responded to the scene, performing CPR on the injured pedestrian before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further treatment. As of the latest reports, the victim’s condition remains unknown.

Authorities have yet to obtain a description of the vehicle involved in the collision. The police are appealing to any witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist in identifying the vehicle and the driver responsible.
