KGAPANE-A female patient who was allegedly admitted at Kgapane hospital, in Greater Letaba, fell to her death a few hours after being discharged from the medical facility.
It is alleged that the middle-aged woman was transferred from Sekgopo clinic to Kgapane hospital, where she spent few days until she was released today, March 30. According to police reports, the deceased collapsed at the local taxi rank, a stone’s throw from the medical facility.
Emergency personnel declared the patient dead at the scene upon arrival.
Bolobedu police communication officer confirmed the incident and stated that, they have opened an inquest docket and the case is under investigation.
