LEKHURENG VILLAGE – A 12-year-old girl, Tlou Koko, from Lekhureng village in Matlala, under the Capricorn District, has reportedly been abducted by a Pakistani national known as Abdul. The alarming incident has left the local community in shock and has prompted an urgent police investigation.
According to initial reports, Tlou Koko left her home without informing anyone of her whereabouts and has since disappeared. Preliminary investigations have revealed that she was last seen with Abdul around the village.
On Monday, June 4, Koko called her mother, claiming that she was in America, which has further deepened the family’s distress and confusion.
The family has reported the matter to the police, leading to the opening of a missing person file. The case has now been transferred to the Seshego Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Unit for further investigation.
The police are urgently appealing to anyone with information that could assist in locating Tlou Koko to come forward.
