MAKHADO – One person has died and several others were injured in a crash involving a bakkie and a truck on the N1 near Makhado on Friday evening.
The accident occurred between Louis Trichardt and Musina, just after the tunnel towards the Waterpoort turnoff, involving a side tipper truck and a bakkie.
Authorities confirmed that the fatality was recorded in the bakkie. The crash happened at around 21:30.
Emergency services and police attended the scene, and investigations into the cause of the accident are underway.
