PHALABORWA– Enock Futani Nyathi was sworn in as new Ward 19 Councillor during Ba-Phalaborwa Municipal Special Council Meeting held at the Impala Park Sports hall on Friday, November 27.
Nyathi replaces the late Cllr Puleng Dikgale who passed on earlier this year after a short illness.
Speaker of Ba-Phalaborwa Municipal Council, Cllr Eric Hlungwane, welcomed Cllr E Nyathi to the Council.
Cllr Hlungwane stated that the newly elected Councillor is bringing new energy to the council, particularly for the residents in Ward 19. “Cllr Nyathi replaces a hard-working, committed, and dedicated Councillor and we believe that he will emulate the selfless spirit of Cllr Dikgale,” Hlungwane said.
