TZANEEN-Residents of Nkowankowa and Lenyenye, along with several surrounding areas, are experiencing a power outage due to a broken conductor on the 66kV line between Tarentaal Main Substation and Tarentaal T-off.

The incident has left Califonia, Deerpark, Greystone, Gladstone, and all areas serviced by Eskom lines from this 66kV line without electricity.

The interruption occurred due to a break in the conductor, which is a critical component of the power transmission line.

This has led to a significant disruption in the electricity supply, affecting both residential and commercial consumers in the region.

The power outage impacts a broad area, including:Nkowankowa, Lenyenye, Califonia, Deerpark, Greystone, Gladstone and surrounding areas.

Eskom has promptly dispatched repair teams to address the issue. The crews are working diligently to repair the damaged conductors and restore power to the affected areas.
