NKOWANKOWA-Amanda Maluleke from Nkowankowa, in Greater Tzaneen Municipality, was crowned Miss Hotlegs South Africa 2021

The 21-year-old beauty queen is the epitome of beauty with brains. The model is a first-year LLB student at the University of South Africa.

Speaking exclusively to Tzaneen Voice, Maluleke shared how her love for pageantry came about.

“I’ve always dreamt of becoming a model from a young age. My family is my biggest sponsor and support system. They always advised me to pursue modelling as a career because of my height and physique. As luck would have it, a close friend and confidante, Selaelo Mahasha, introduced me to pageantry. The rest, as they say, is history”. Maluleke announced.

The beauty said that she believed she won the competition because she had zero tolerance for mediocrity. She said that she always goes above and beyond the call of duty in whatever task she is given.

Furthermore, she emphasized that, contrary to popular belief, pageantry is not all glitz and glam because it comes with a lot of responsibility.

“I give everything I do a 100%. I am a queen and possess all the qualities of a queen. The mission of the competition was to provide a platform for women and unify them. It is not only about looking beautiful”. Maluleke concluded.

In conclusion, the bright young woman advised young girls who want to pursue modelling to go for it. She reiterated that it teaches valuables lessons about life and bolsters self-confidence.
