Nkowankowa Athletic Club Juniors Shine at Magoebaskloof Plunge

MAGOEBASKLOOF-Nkowankowa Athletic Club’s junior road runners made a powerful statement at the Magoebaskloof Plunge, a 21km race that attracted thousands of runners on Saturday, November 17.

The event, known for its challenging terrain and picturesque setting, showcased the talent and determination of these young athletes.

In the 21km Junior Male category, Mkateko Nukeri claimed victory, demonstrating remarkable endurance and speed on the demanding course. His impressive performance earned him the top spot in his age group, cementing his reputation as a rising star in road running.

Meanwhile, Allen Maswanganyi dominated the 5km Junior Male race, finishing in 1st place in his category and securing an outstanding 2nd place overall, competing against both junior and senior runners. His achievement underscores his exceptional talent and potential in short-distance running.

Speaking after the race, a representative from the club said:
