Nigerian National arrested for selling drugs in Polokwane

POLOKWANE: The members of the Provincial Organized Crime Unit arrested a 26-year-old Nigerian national male suspect during a disruptive operation at Polokwane on Wednesday 06 September 2023.

The suspect was arrested at the park in Polokwane following a tip-off. He was spotted in a parked motor vehicle, a Hyundai i10 white in colour selling drugs in the park and was found in possession of crystal meth, Kat, and heroine estimated to street value of R50 000.

A motor vehicle, a Hyundai i10, was worth a value of R90.000.

The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, welcomed the arrest and applauded the members for their endless effort in the fight against drugs.

The suspect appeared before Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Friday 08 September 2023, charged with possession of drugs.
