NAMAKGALE- Winase Ndlovu of Namakgale, but born and bred in Bushbuckridge will be celebrating 122 years today, Saturday, May 07, 2022, at Long till Score in Namakgale.
As a way of honouring her, her children, grand-children, and great-grandchildren had organised a birthday party for her. Grandmother Winase Mathebula was born on 16 March 1900. She moved to Namakgale about years ago after her daughter insisted on taking care of her closely in her household.
Speaking on behalf of the children, Ammy Ndlovu Mathebula said they wanted to pay special tribute to her as a good mother. She added that her only challenge is that her mother needs a wheelchair and adult diapers.
Mathebula appeals to the premier of the province, Cllr Stan Mathabatha, and any business owners who can assist the grand-mother in getting a wheelchair, food and diapers, to please contact the publication.
