SANDTON-Tributes are pouring in for Mpho Masekwameng of Two Mountains, who passed away on 27 December 2021, after a horrific car accident.

The memorial service was held at Inanda Club in Sandton- Johannesburg on Wednesday, January 12.

The 43-year-old wife to the chairman of Two Mountains, Onkgopotse Masekwameng was described as generous, loving, caring, and supportive to her family, friends, and the community at large.  She was also a pillar and a selfless leader.

She was a devoted member of the House of Worship International Church.  Pastor Florence Aphane said Mpho was part of the church’s formation from humble beginnings and was a loyal and generous member who helped in carrying the vision of the church.

“We had plans of starting an orphanage centre, we are deeply hurt by her passing. She was a committed member, a woman of destiny, a phenomenal woman. In December she contributed enormously in donating food parcels to the elderly people,” Aphane mentioned.

Speaker after speaker described her as a community builder, a humble person, compassionate, fun with a great sense of humour, and above all her infectious smile.

Speaking on behalf of friends, Ruan Du Preez said Mpho was a true reflection of a proverbs 31 woman.

“We’ve known the Masekwameng family for 19 years, and all we received from Mpho was love, she loved her family so deeply,” Du Preez sadly said.
