TZANEEN-A petrol attendant was left in disbelief after a motorist drove off without paying for fuel at the Viva Yamorna filling station in Tzaneen on Thursday, January 16.
The incident involved two male suspects, who arrived at the station in a black Hyundai i10, registration number FSF 466 L.
After filling up their vehicle with petrol, the suspects allegedly sped off without paying, leaving the attendant stunned and without compensation for the fuel.
The men’s actions were described as highly suspicious, and the authorities are now actively investigating the matter.
Local police have urged anyone with information regarding the suspects’ whereabouts or identity to come forward.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) has requested that any tips be reported to Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or at the nearest police station.
