NKOWANKOWA-Pep store staff members in Nkowankowa are in limbo after a mother fled the store and left her baby behind after she was allegedly caught stealing. The suspect is reported to have been caught red-handed with stolen clothes by the store security guards and was immediately detained.
However, it is said that she managed to flee the scene abandoning her baby who appeared to be around 3 or 4 four months old.
It is reported that the suspect is wearing a maroon dress and is suspected to have fled to Dan or Lusaka village, in Greater Tzaneen.
Anyone with information on the suspects’ whereabouts can contact the police or Pep store in Nkowankowa where the baby is currently under the care of the staff.
