Moseamedi Eager for Regular Game Time at Stellies

MAKHUBIDUNG- Prolific Tzaneen-born striker is one specimen who possesses a great height and qualities for a deadly goals poacher, which would arguably make him the greatest forward in the country, however, limited regular game time always denies Moseamedi’s appetite to score more goals.

“I don’t usually predict goals I will score, because of the concern about playing regularly, and the most important thing to me is to score goals” former Maritzburg United forward.

The 27-year- old, popularly known as Tzaneen Express is currently plying his trade for the Western Cape-based – club Stellenbosch FC in the DStv Premiership.

Moseamedi has had a great start to the season, with 10 appearances for Stellies mostly as a substitute, and scored 3 goals.

Speaking to Tzaneen Voice, the Makwibidung-born scoring machine says he has settled well under Steve Barker’s charges and has restored his confidence.

Moseamedi fortified his name in the Premier League Division when he played for both Cape Town city, where he made 36 appearances and scored 6 goals and Maritzburg united with 39 appearances and 7 goals.

Speaking of his fondest football moments, Moseamedi alludes to having his family travel to Durban to watch him play in a cup final.

“The biggest moment of my football career was when I organized a trip for my mom and Uncle to Durban when we played Mamelodi Sundowns in the 2019 Telkom Knockout Final which I scored” Moseamedi added.

Moseamedi has scored three goals in seven appearances for Stellies this season

The Stellenbosch FC forward has told ‘Tzaneen Voice’ in an exclusive interview, that he didn’t plan any tournament for this festive due to covid-19 threat, however his recently launched Judas Moseamedi foundation has great initiatives lined up In December.

“The recently launched Judas Moseamedi Foundation is intending to support and help to donate food parcels to the needy on this festive season and Tzaneen will never be the same”, he added.

Stellenbosch FC is set to host Amazulu FC on Saturday, 20 November in a DStv Premiership encounter, and Moseamedi will be looking to trouble his former mentor, Benni McCarthy
