1. POST: ADMINISTRATOR FOR PART-TIME CLASSES

Requirements: Grade 12 with 5 years experience in TVET student admnistration or a degree/National Diploma with 1 year student administration experience in the TVET sector. Sound communication skills. Computer literate (Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet). Advanced Coltech skills.
Duties: Assist with registration of students and ensure learners are enrolled for the exam.
Ensure updated registers are available and lecturers are linked correctly to the students and class groups
Verify the validity of the facilitators ’claims regarding the number of the sessions, attendance records and contact session plans. Authenticate claims and submit for approval to Edu-distant coordinator prior to submission to the Campus Manager. Ensure availability of venues. Capturing of all marks on Coltech and ensure that marks are verified as per timeframes and assessment schedules. Provide administrative support to lecturers and Coordinator.

2. POST: PART-TIME CO-ORDINATOR FOR NATED/REPORT 191
REF: PHL2/02/2021
Requirements: A National Degree or Diploma as well as a professional teaching qualification.
At least three (3) years supervisory/management experience on PL2. Sound Communication skills
Computer literacy skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet). One (1) year teaching experience in the Report 191 programmes offered at the campus. SACE registration
Edu-distant is offered after hours or on Saturdays.
Duties: Management of Edu-distant registration. Manage the appointment of facilitators. The allocation of subjects and the construction of the time table. Monitoring and management of Teaching and learning as well as class attendance. Quality assurance of all assessments as per ICASS guidelines. Verification of claims. Analyse and report on student performance to management. Liase with students, parents and other relevant stakeholders.
3. POST: Temporary Tourism Lecturer x 4 Months
REF: PHL3/02/2021
SALARY NOTCH: R211 731 – R467 925 per annum
Requirements: National diploma or degree majoring in Tourism. Sound Communication skills. Computer literate (Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet). One (1) year teaching experience in Tourism and a professioal qualification in Education will be an added advantage. Available to work flexi hours.
Duties: Facilitation and assessment of all Tourism subjects (Tourism Operations, Science of Tourism, Sustainable Tourism and Client Services and Human relations). To enhance learning as an active process and be prepared to use a variety of strategies to meet the subject and learning outcomes of the curriculum. To create and maintain a classroom environment that stimulate positive learning and actively engage students in the learning process. Management of student records well as all assests allocated to the class room. Analyse and report on student performance to management. Liase with students, parents and other relevant stakeholders. Monitoring of students on WBE and provide Support student and development. Be available for WIL or Work Integrated Learning to enhance own personal development.
