TLHABINE: Police in Maake have launched a manhunt for three unknown armed suspects who allegedly robbed a security officer of his firearm at Mogoboya Clinic at Tlhabine village in Greater Tzaneen.
According to the police report, a 45-year-old security officer was on duty on Saturday night, May 06 when three unknown males arrived at the clinic, under the pretext that they have brought a patient who consumed poison.
It is further alleged that the security opened the gate for suspects who entered the yard while pointing a firearm at him and instructed him to surrender it.
Afterwards, the suspects fled the scene driving a White Toyota bakkie motor vehicle without registration numbers.
