KGAPANE – The aforementioned school that is based in Kgapane, Greater Letaba, had to suspend classes early today after multiple learners collapsed on the school premises.
It is alleged that only girls were affected by the mysterious collapse. Allegedly, one girl who is suspected to be a sangoma initiate, went into a trance during classes and soon after that, multiple girls started behaving strangely.
According to educators, the victim’s appeared breathless, while crying and screaming. As a result, there was uncontrollable mass hysteria in classes.
The school subsequently had to suspend classes to monitor the situation. The parents of the affected learners were alerted.
