MEIDINGEN-The body of 41-year-old Selina Shai Modika who was reported missing after going to meet a friend who allegedly owed her money at Kgapane plaza, on July 7, was discovered earlier today at Meidingen village, Greater Letaba.
Preliminary police reports indicate that the victim was found buried in a shallow grave with a rope tied around her neck, at Diwetse tavern, a hang out spot in the village she owned and where she was allegedly last seen.
A manhunt organized by community members led to the gruesome discovery and police were immediately summoned.

“An inquest docket has been opened and we will release a detailed report and more investigations will be conducted to ascertain the exact cause of the death”, Hlokwe stated.
