Meet Phalaborwa Queen of the dance floor

PHALABORWA-Following the death of her Mother Julia Mahesu (33) known as Juju De dancer had no choice but to relocate from Mookgophong to Phalaborwa in 2013.

While looking for opportunities to better her life in a new environment she discovered dancing abilities which earned her to be called Phalaborwa Queen of the dance floor.

“My dancing career kick-started at Mphuphuthe tavern followed by Ghanama tavern and other taverns outside Phalaborwa such as Meruleng, Matjie tavern and Chilliboy tavern”

Through her dancing gigs in tarvens Juju de Dancer is able to support her family and pay bills. She is a professional dancer and is highly respected and recommended by the crowd and tavern owners.

Her talent and moves will Surprise you when she tells you that she is the mother of three, but her hectic schedule makes it hard for her sometimes to handle the two.

“I am grateful my aunt looks after them when I am busy performing and relieves a lot of pressure off my shoulders”

She does not only dance in taverns even when she gets invited to perform at birthday parties she performs.

“My popular dance style is called “Lekunye la moyeng” which is loved by my fans and supporters” she added
